Join Our Christmas Celebrations at All Saints

What to expect when you visit All Saints for Christmas:

As with all services at All Saints, everyone is welcome. We’re a mixed bunch of wonderful people who love God, each other, our church and we really love the Ascot Vale community.

We have both young and old members – some who have been members of our community for decades (literally 60+ years!) and some who have joined us more recently. We have members who have been walking out their faith journey for their whole lives and others who are still exploring Christianity. Whoever you are, you’ll fit right in.

We’re a church who love to welcome people and have a gift for hospitality that we love to share. You’re always invited to stay after our services to enjoy morning tea with us.

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a friendly member of the church. You’ll be able to follow along with the service on the powerpoint. You’re welcome to engage as much as you’d like or sit back and take it all in.

Christmas Services:

Lessons & Carols
10am

About the Lessons & Carols service

Join us as we gather for the traditional Anglican Lessons & Carols Service. In this service we will read 9 passages from Scripture that tell the story of God’s active, redemptive work in the world throughout history to help us understand who Jesus is and the significance of Jesus’ birth for us. In between Scripture readings, we’ll sing a mixture of both traditional and more familiar Christmas hymns.

If you’re somebody who is interested in exploring Christianity, this is a service for you. You could think of it as getting the ‘back story’ for why Christmas is so important to Christians – it explains who Jesus is and why his birth is so important to us.

If you’re somebody who has attended church previously, you’ll enjoy this familiar service which is a staple in Anglican churches in the lead up to Christmas.

Join us for a Christmas-themed morning tea following the service.
